Welcome to My Starfish Consulting! My vision is to provide professionals and caregivers with the information and strategies they desire to feel confident in supporting and understanding neurodivergent children with emotional, sensory, regulatory, motor, learning, and developmental challenges. Within early intervention, My Starfish Consulting applies the DIRFloortime framework developed by Dr. Stanley Greenspan through training and certification by the International Council on Development and Learning (ICDL).

DIRFloortime is an evidence-based model approach which supports the child’s natural developmental capabilities while considering and respecting their individual differences. DIR stands for development, individual differences, and relationship  and provides the foundational framework for understanding human development. Floortime is the collection of strategies used to support individuals within this framework.
