About Me
Hi there! I'm Hillary, a DIRFloortime Consultant for Clinics and Families!
As an autistic individual myself and mother of two neurodivergent children, I am passionate about respecting and uplifting the individual differences and experiences in all people.
My family has been my biggest source of inspiration and motivation in my work supporting other neurodivergent children and their families.
Discovering both of my children where AudHD (autistic & ADHD) began an incredibly challenging journey full of both joy and sorrow. Learning how to support them and grow as both a parent has presented incredible opportunities for personal growth, humility, acceptance, perseverance, and more.
My children have taught me many important lessons on what it means to be an adult, how culture affects my view of others, what self-reflection really entails, and the fundamental need of all humans to feel connected and valued. Through navigating their neurodivergence, I have discovered my own. Receiving a diagnosis of autism or other neurodivergence can elicit many feelings from grief, confusion, relief, empowerment, and more. At the end of the day, we are all humans just trying to navigate this twisting road called life. I hope to use the information and skills I have learned both in my professional and personal life to support others in finding a sense of confidence and new perspective on what it means to be neurodivergent.

When I am not working or spending time with my family, I am spending my free time crafting.
Creativity and crafting are very important to me, There is something magical and grounding when we create with out hands. Although I am by no means an expert within the various crafts I do, I enjoy encouraging and teaching others who are interested in learning. I believe everyone is a creative person, but many have been conditioned to believe that creativity can only look a certain way. I am also a firm believer that crafting or other forms of art are an amazing way to practice being present and grounded in a world that always seems to be looking to the future.
